/Branching Out
From decidedly humble beginnings, Migraineur magazine has evolved to become a source of healthcare education for an international readership and is regarded by many in the field of headache medicine as the “best in show” for the education of those who suffer from migraine and those who otherwise have an interest in the disorder.
There is so much to know about migraine - its clinical manifestations, its treatment, the multitude of other medical conditions and disorders that intersect with migraine – that trying to discuss migraine in a coherent fashion or even understand the basics of the disorder can be a challenging proposition. So much to know! So much information to access.
We are making an effort to assist with this in 2 new and related ways. One is the creation of a “migraine Wikipedia”, an ongoing work-in-progress whose and latest version can be found on page 4—5. of this issue. Here you will find the magazine’s website address and a listing of all of the magazine’s issues with the major topics covered in each issues. If, for example, you have questions or concerns about the treatment of migraine during pregnancy, the “migraine Wikipedia” will direct you to the Winter 2024 issue for a discussion of that topic.
In addition, we recently initiated a Substack post dedicated to a wide variety of issues involving migraine. To access “All Things Migraine”, simply search for “Dr. Rothrock migraine Substack”, click in and enjoy.
